The intake: a household with nothing on file, a spreadsheet of their own, and every figure read out of it shown before anything stores it. Each card carries use, edit and leave out, and nothing leaves pending until somebody decides — the correction is a second act, because the door needs the value and throws without it.

The phase rail has nothing to click. The drawing’s five segments are buttons into a jump list; here the phase is derived from what has actually happened to their data, so flipping a switch below moves it and no control on it does. A segment that jumped would have to fabricate the milestones underneath it.

The receipt carries two kinds of figure and says which is which — one they confirmed off a tab of their own, one the product worked out. Its promise sentence is the empty state’s, which is how the drawing gates it too: as a standing caption it would claim somebody confirmed a derivation. It makes one up appends a monthly figure nothing computed, and the reply is set aside without repeating it.

We keep a Google Sheet — years of it, honestly a bit of a mess by now.

Budget.xlsxBudget file · 8 tabs · 4 of them in use

Read it. Thirteen tabs — six are the budget and the rest I would set aside. Here is my sorting; correct me where I am wrong.

Several totals did not survive the export, so I recomputed them from the raw rows rather than trusting the stored ones.
