Journey · @orgdevkit/kit-funding-ladder
Six rungs in a locked order, climbed from the foot of the list — rung 6 at the top, rung 1 at the bottom, which is the direction the app draws and sheet 03 defaults to. A rung’s state comes from its own money and the one you are standing on is derived from the states, so a rung above the current one can be cleared: turn on Nothing above four percent and rung 2 finishes while rung 1 and rung 3 are still being filled.
There is no percentage where there is no percentage. Both drawings render the two debt rungs at 0% — telling a household that has paid half its card off that it has done nothing — because their track takes a number. Here the model answers nothing to be a fraction of, and an outlined empty track is a different shape from a bar at nought. No lines drawn yet shows the same thing on a settable rung.
Two sheets open from the ladder and this page mounts both: rung settings, where a threshold a household moves is priced as it moves, and the goal sheetin its three shapes.
Every act is host-declared: five of the pack’s verbs name features this tree does not have, so a ladder that offered them all would carry buttons that do nothing. The deployment wired nothing is the honest default.
The line on a rung is a setting, and moving it is costed too. Press Adjust the target on step 1, 3 or 4 and the settings sheet opens for that rung. Step 3 counts months of essentials, because a host supplied the essentials to count against; steps 1 and 4 ask for the line itself, because nothing in this tree supplies an income and a picker over a basis nobody gave would multiply by nothing. Nothing is written until Save target, which says so while there is nothing to save.
The goals reorder, and the move is costed before it is let go. Pick a goal up by its grip — by pointer, by tap, or with the keyboard (space to lift, arrows to move, space to drop, escape to put it back) — and the landing says what this month’s money would do differently. The six steps have no grip and the reorder says so rather than leaving a hole where one would be. No figure for the month takes the whole affordance away, because a move nobody can cost is the app’s silent version; Nothing left to hand out keeps it and says plainly that nothing changes.
Open a goal row, or press Add a goal, and the goal sheet opens. Its money fields are the same field the settings sheet draws — text, read by the kit’s own parser, which answers 8.000 with two buttons instead of guessing. Type it into Target and see: that field used to be an <input type="number">, and a Dutch browser read the same string as eight euros, silently, with every check in this repository green over it.
The preview is the only place the picked visualisation is visible at all — nothing else in the product renders a goal’s Show its progress as, so drawing the picker without it would ship a control whose effect cannot be seen. The runway’s blocks say what is behind the goal and the sentence beside them does not say nine months in: nothing here stores when a reach goal’s money arrived, so the blocks are what it is worth at this pace. Switch the shape to Give it away and the same drawing becomes a recorded past, because that is the one shape whose starting pot the schema keeps.
